This incredible lake is our favourite spot in Burma, without a doubt. It has a laid back atmosphere and gentle breezes blow as you are transported across its waters, soaking up the rural joys of Burma.
Set right on the shore of Inle Lake, the luxurious Aureum Palace takes slightly longer to get to than other local options, but once you get there the location is lovely. This is a good option if the Inle Princess is not available.
With a great lakeside location, lovely chalets, good facilities and 5* service, the Inle Princess Resort is the best hotel in the area – and correspondingly popular, therefore availability is the only issue. Book early if you want to stay here.
