Right at the the centre of Nepal, Pokhara is the trekking centre, a staging post for the majority of these adventures into the country, with stunning views of the Himalayas.
Most of the simple rooms have fantastic views down over the tranquil lake and the surrounding countryside, the resort has its own fish farm and the fresh fish are served in the restaurant. The lake is warm enough to swim in for most of the year and the resort offers guided treks to local villages and the surrounding areas.
The restaurant serves a good mix of Nepalese, Indian and Western dishes to suit everyone’s taste. A great hotel for your stay in Pokhara but will require a taxi to get you into the centre of town.
