Baguio set high in the Cordillera is an excellent base in which to begin your exploration of northern Luzon.
The town itself has not much to see but the surrounding countryside is beautiful, the food amazing with typical country cooking from smoked meats and blood sausages, not for the faint hearted but very delicious.
