Across form the Opera House, the Caravelle Hotel built back in the 1950’s and quickly became very popular along with the Rex as the place for reporters to stay especially for the rooftop bar that is still very popular today.
After major renovations and a large new wing was added, the Caravelle has bounced back to its former glories as the centre of Saigon’s life. A good hotel in a great location with a lot of wonderful history.
