Panna National Park – Where To Stay

Panna is an unspoilt and tranquil park in the North of Madhya Pradesh, very close to the temple town of Khajuraho. The park is not well known for its tiger sightings with a relatively small population compared to other parks,  but it's a great introduction to the Indian wilderness, with a chance to see other cats as well such as leopard and jungle cat. Panna is a fantastic birding destination with over 200 species and great water birds along the Ken River.

Pashan Garh

Pashan Garh is a Taj Safaris / &Beyond lodge located a few miles outside the Panna National Park, on top of a small hill with fantastic views over the forest and a large waterhole.  The lodge comprises 12 stylish cottages built from local stone clustered around a central courtyard, set amongst giant banyan trees.   Only 31km away are the  10th-century sandstone temples of Khajuraho, now a World Heritage Site.
