Pangkor

The small, idyllic island of Pangkor is located a few hours' north of Kuala Lumpur, reached by a short ferry ride from the mainland of Malaysia. This little island is home to a thriving fishing industry and some truly wonderful beaches.
As well as enjoying the island's beaches, we would also highly recommend joining an expert resident naturalist on a walk to explore Pangkor's two-million-year-old rainforest. Keep a look out for carnivorous plants, geckos, crab-eating macaques, tropical monitor lizards, salamanders, yellow pied hornbills and scaly anteaters, among others.

The beauty of the Straits of Malacca and surrounding islands are also there to be explored, whether by luxury yacht, motor boat, Oriental junk, or catamaran. Enjoy a scenic cruise and drop anchor to sunbathe, picnic on the beach, swim, snorkel, and even fish on your idyllic Malaysia holiday.
