The colonial style Majestic Hotel sits perfectly as the place to stay in Malacca drawing on the colonial heritage of the city. The original mansion dates back to the 1920’s and is an integral part of the hotel, whilst a newer part has been built mirroring the original architecture.
The Majestic has managed to pull off the mix of old and new, modern and historic, the hotel honours the past in wonderful style. The rooms are elegant in style and befit the best hotel in Malacca with timber floors, silk furnishings and the large clawfoot bathtubs to relax in. A fantastic colonial style hotel in an amazing city, very highly recommended.
